The assassins were Romulans

Dahj is a twin, they’re created in pairs 

Dahj’s twin is Soji - she is in a Borg ship

Captain Pike - prior to Kirk

Klingon unifying 

“We come in peace” - a fatal greeting

Two women break bedrock to release water for a species - alien-like beings come out of the well

Ship finds them

Something took out a starfleet relay, getting their attention

Number 1 goes off to see the unknown object, she thinks it could be something hiding out of fear

The object is not debris, some sort of carved or constructed object of stone and metal 

Big golden Klingon, Number 1 announces herself, they go at each other 

Mission time runs out, Number 1 is still in the scatter field 

The Klingon torchbearer was killed, Klingons have a ritual for him

5 years prior to original Star Trek story 

First contact with aliens is just a dream until one day it isn’t

Captain Pike knows how and when he will die, doesn’t want to be sent out on Starfleet because of it 

They come to him and order him to duty 

Spock (vulcan) and some girl, girl asks spock to marry her 

Pike calls spock of his wedding night, takes him back out to find Number 1 

Michael Durham was spock’s sister (adopted) 

Cadet Uhura 

Every human thinks they’ll cheat death

He keeps reliving and imagining his death, the radiation melting his face 

Genome alteration to blend in to alien world

Girl opts out of sedation

Gets to this other planet, get inside building

Rescue the people 

Break every rule of first contact, earth has the bigger stick

Pike beams into conference room on other planet, convinces them they’re leading to their own death and gets them to join their confederation of planets
